A portion of the proceeds is donated to families in Nepal where the recipe comes from. In addition, real Yak milk is only available in limited quantities, which we do not want to take away from the people in Nepal who desperately need the milk.

Each Golddust Chhurpi is made from 99.9% cow's milk (0.01% is salt). As with cheese production, rennet is added to the milk. This causes the milk to curdle; this mass is placed in moisture-permeable cloths in a mold, then pressed and dried for more than 3 months.
