A portion of the proceeds is donated to families in Nepal where the recipe comes from. In addition, real yak milk is only available in limited quantities, and we do not want to deprive the people of Nepal who desperately need the milk.

Every Golddust Chhurpi is made from 99.9% cow's milk (0.01% is salt). As in cheese production, rennet is added to the milk. This causes the milk to curdle; this mass is placed in moisture-permeable cloths in a mold, then pressed and dried for more than 3 months.
